Will it work on Mac?

The photo booth software PTBooth WILL NOT WORK ON MAC or any other operating system. PTBooth is designed to be used only with Windows 7.

Which version of Windows works best with the software?

WINDOWS 7. Starting 2012 Windows XP will not be supported.

Can the software do green screen?

PTBooth is designed for PHOTO BOOTH applications. No green screen, no video, only PHOTO BOOTH. Please watch the photo booth software workflow video where we show how software is operating.

Are there any other print templates other than standard photostrips?

YES, Different print templates for 4x6 media are now available.

Can I use an external button ("arcade button", "usb button") to start the picture session?

PTBooth is designed to be used ONLY WITH A TOUCH SCREEN.
EXTERNAL BUTTON ("arcade button", "usb button") IS NOT SUPPORTED

What are the minimum system requirements for the PC?

    Recommended minimum PC system:
  • 512 RAM and UP
  • Celeron 900 2.20 GHz and UP
  • 500 MB of Free disk space and UP

The more powerful the better! NETBOOKS are not recommended! Even though the software works on NETBOOKs we are not recommending to use a NETBOOK for your Photo Booth!

Are there any restrictions on printers?

Any printer should work. However we do not have the ability to test all printer models. Try Demo to make sure your printer is working properly with the software.

NOTE! At this time DNP DS40 will not work properly with the current portrait (2 photostrips) print templates. Only landscape templates are working with this printer due to the glitch in printer driver.

Is the PTBooth capable of taking video?

PTBooth is designed for PHOTO BOOTH applications. NO VIDEO, No green screen, only PHOTO BOOTH functionality. Please watch the photo booth software workflow video where we show how software is operating.

Will it work with a webcam?

The Software WILL NOT WORK WITH A WEBCAM.
PTBooth is designed to be used only with SELECTED CANON CAMERAS.

Support for bill and credit card acceptors?

Not in the current version, it is in our plans to implement this option in the future.

Does your software require a specific computer/touch screen technology?

ANY TOUCH SCREEN WILL WORK! We recommend ELO brand.

Which size touch screen do i need?

It could be any size. You just have to adjust the screen resolution to the supported size.

What camera brand is supported?

PTBooth is designed to be used only with SELECTED CANON CAMERAS.
ONLY SELECTED CANON CAMERAS AND NO OTHER BRANDS ARE SUPPORTED!

Can I install the software on more than one computer?

PTBooth licence is for one PC. You will not be able to install the software on more than one computer.
