In the PTBooth Admin as well as in the PTBooth Print Template Creator there are 3 options to be aware of that are necessary to achieve a perfect alignment of your Print Template.
They are Print Zoom, Offset Width and Offset Height which are used to make necessary adjustments to match your printer alignment.

Determining if your Print Template is aligned correctly

Run the PTBooth, Print the sample and Look At Your Printed Result

If you have completed the first test print using PTBooth A1 PLUS and your template does not fit correctly on your printer paper it means that your print template requires adjustments to your Print Zoom, Offset Width and Offset Height values in PTBooth Admin Printing Settings Tab.

Determining Values For Print Zoom, Offset Width, Offset Height

Locate Test Grid Folder from PTBooth A1 PLUS package

We have provided a test grid that will help you to determine Print Zoom, Offset Width and Offset Height values for your printer.
The Test grid is an image with grid lines that have 0.1 inches distance between each line.

Adjusting the alignment of your Print Template

Look At The Test Print Result

Take a look at your printed sample and determine what adjustments need to be made.

In this example our printer required the following values:
Print Zoom: 100% Offset Width: 0.1 Offset Height: 0.1

The values are in inches.
If you want to move your template to the right or left use Offset Width
For example: 0.1 in Offset Width value will move your template to the right at the 0.1 inches in distance. -0.1 will move your template to the left at the 0.1 inches in distance.

If you want to move your template up or down use Offset Height
For example: 0.1 in Offset Height will move your template to the bottom at the 0.1 inches in distance. -0.1 will move your template up 0.1 inches in distance.

Print Zoom function will either increase or scale down your template in order to fit it into your desired media size.
Print Zoom is behaving like a "Fit to page" attribute that any printer utilizes. If needed You just have to specify the % of the zoom that will fit your template perfectly.

You will need to experiment with the Offset Width, Offset Height, Print Zoom values in order to determine the values that will match the requirements of your printer.
It is simply a matter of printing test prints with different values until you see the perfect alignment of your Print Template.

Enter Your Determined Values into the PTBooth Admin Printer Settings

Once you have determined the values for the Print Zoom, Offset Width and Offset Height, Make sure you enter those same values into the PTBooth Admin Printing Settings Tab accordingly.

Now any template you create will always be ready to print using those values with that particular printer.

Please note that all printers are different... even those of the same brand and model number. So if you ever use another printer you will need to run a new test to determine new values for zoom, offset width and height.
